Kathleen Robinson is a member of our North American Development Experiences Blueprint™ Consulting Services Team. She is an organization effectiveness consultant who specializes in management and leadership development, interpersonal communication, team effectiveness, and organizational change. Kathleen has worked as a consultant in a variety of industries, including: biotechnology, petrochemical, health care, real estate, semiconductors and other electronic components, computers and office equipment, software and data networking infrastructure, as well as consulting to not-for-profit organizations.
Since launching her own consultancy in 1987, Kathleen has earned a successful reputation as a resourceful problem solver, group facilitator, alliance builder, and performance coach. She offers her unique blend of knowledge in education, counseling psychology and business management to help clients identify and capitalize on opportunities for professional development and organizational growth. Kathleen partners with clients to design and implement management and leadership development programs, including classroom training, individual and group coaching. She also has a strong track record in helping clients strengthen team relationships and work performance; develop and implement plans to achieve desired organizational change; and improve market positioning of products and services.
Prior to entering consulting, Kathleen was Marketing Director for a Northern California professional services firm. Previously, she was a member of the Founders Team that launched Discovery Toys and in her role as Marketing Manager grew the company to $25M in sales in the first seven years.
Kathleen has served as adjunct graduate faculty or guest lecturer in management programs at the UC Berkeley Extension, St. Mary's College and John F. Kennedy University. As Chair of the Workforce Development Board for Contra Costa County, she leads a group of public and private sector representatives who are working to build an integrated workforce development system.
Kathleen earned an MBA from St. Mary's College Executive MBA Program and completed her undergraduate degree in Human Development from the University of California, Davis. She has also completed coursework towards a Masters in Counseling Psychology at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, CA.
Kathleen is based in San Francisco.
